Forbidden books!

All children have the right to have their family reflected in picture books. Showing all different families also shows the diversity and variation that actually exists. In Sweden, there are more than 1 million different families!💖

But around the world, books that have a clear LGBTQI theme are banned. In Russia, there are laws that ban all books that contain any form of LGBTQI. In Sweden, it is rare for a book to be censored, but in the USA, for example, anyone can report a book. Often, it is parents who think that their children should be protected from certain books in their school environment. If a book is banned, the thoughts and ideas that the book conveys are also banned.
