Author - Jenny Sjödin

Jenny Sjödin lives in Gustavsberg in Stockholm, together with her partner and dog Elsa. She works as a storyteller, illustrator and graphic designer. Where the northern lights dance is Jenny's first book.

"When I created this book, I started from myself as a child and the thoughts and behavior I had to try to deal with the grief and loss of my father who passed away when I was seven years old. The creation of this script is somehow rooted in an insight into how I felt as a child. I had a hard time understanding that someone could just disappear and told myself that one day - somehow, I would get to see him again. Unfortunately, I didn't know a kramgo polar bear like the child in the book, but my big sister Sofia was my constant support and best friend.”
