Malin Lilja early abandoned an alternative career as a cinema operator and is now a publishing editor and children's book author. Mix runs was her first book on OLIKA and the first book in the series about Mix.
“In 2010 I had a daughter, she has the same fast-paced boldness as Mix. Like many other children, she went through a period when cars and everything that hums and rolls was the dominant interest. Still, I couldn't find a single vehicle book with a girl as the main character. So then I wrote it.”
