Sara Berg lives in Björkhagen in Stockholm with a large family, including the dog Hickory. She is a writer and drama teacher, and likes to make author visits to preschools and schools with reading aloud and drama play.
Together with Karin Frimodig, Sara has written many children's books. Among other things, the popular series about the Pirates, the books about Noomi in the easy-to-read series Hokus Pokus and My Embarrassing Family.
"We like to write about the pirates who go on adventures together. The pirate gang is a bit like our football team, 17 Sisters: we fight, laugh, sweat and do each other good.”
