Emmeli Thorselius was partly raised in Alingsås and now lives in Stockholm where she works with development aid at SIDA, among other things.
“I have three wild daughters and the idea for the messy sisters was sparked when I came across prejudices about what girls should be like. That they are kind, caring and calm by nature. I hope that the T sisters will help challenge that stereotype. The book is written based on my own experiences linked to autism and ADHD and I want to normalize the reality that we and many others live in. A blissful mix of creativity, drive and curiosity interspersed with restlessness, impulsiveness and great expressions of emotion. All at the same time!
