A group where everyone is special!

Meet four athletes in parasports. Kia who competes in snowshoe running and wants silver more than gold. Tyra and Rami who love football and are happy for every goal, no matter which team scores them. And Aje who goes on a try-out day in sports, and gets caught! Even though he was just supposed to watch.

Heja Speciell! is inspired by children with intellectual disabilities and their sports. The book is created in collaboration with Special Olympics, the world's largest grassroots sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities. In Sweden, Special Olympics is part of the Swedish Parasports Federation and uses sports to get more people moving.
